Stamford Bridge is a football stadium, which is used as the Chelsea football club' home. It is located in the London west near London Earl’s Court. Stamford Bridge officially opened in 1877 and Chelsea Football Club moved into the new Stamford Bridge stadium in 1905. The capacity was originally planned to be around 100,000 and was the second largest in country behind Crystal Palace venue.
Stamford Bridge is only 2 stops from the St Mark Hotel. You can take the District Line from Earls Court Station to Fulham Broadway staion. Head east on Fulham Rd toward Waterford Rd from Fulham Broadway station, and turn left at Britannia Rd, and then Turn right, the stadium of Chelsea Football Club will be on the left.
